A unique combination of old and new architecture. Residential buildings by Finnish architect Aarne Ervi, completed in 1957. The exterior of the main building is protected by the Finnish Heritage Agency. Studio Petra Majantie was the client representative and responsible for the interior architecture, building details, exterior tones and new outdoor lighting as well as for the interior restoration and renovation of both Ervi buildings. The exterior restoration of Ervi buildings was made together with OOPEEA. Architecture of writer’s chamber, sauna and carport by OOPEAA. Villa Koivikko is a nominee for EU Mies Award 2022.
